Patchnotes of the version 3.0.5.
The update 3.0.5 is a transition update, laying the fondations for some of the future changes and features of the mod.
As such, and to avoid too much charge, there won't be a document for the update 3.0.5 in the game, instead, the content of this update will be developed below, and will also be included in the patchnotes of the future update 3.1.
This article itself will be deleted when the update 3.1 will be released, as the patchnotes of the version 3.1 will also include the details about the update 3.0.5.
-- Part one: Bugs fixes.
-- Part two: Perks and modifications.
-- Part three: Items and modifications.
-- Part one: Bugs fixes --
- Patience (Rank 1): Fixed an issue who was incorrectly giving 95% chances of hitting in VATS mode, instead of the value given in the description.
- Patience (Rank 2): Fixed an issue who was incorrectly giving 95% chances of hitting in VATS mode, instead of the value given in the description.
- Power armor expert (Rank 3): Fixed an issue who was incorrectly giving 95% chances of hitting in VATS mode, instead of the value given in the description.
-- Part two: Perks and modifications --
- Patience (General): The accuracy bonus in VATS mode is no longer effective when you wear power armor. This modification is not stated in the perk's description due to lack of room.
- Containment chamber (General): Containment chamber no longer reduces radiation taken from consumption of irradiated food or beverages; the descriptions of the various ranks have been modified to reflect this change.
- Survivalist (Rank 2): Should now be compatible with food and beverages added by others mods.
- The perks Mutant researcher (Grade 1), Mutant researcher (Grade 2) and Monster hunter can no longer be obtained and don't have any effect anymore, and they are now hidden in the perks list.
-- Part three: Items and modifications --
- The legendary workbench can no longer be built.
- It is no longer possible to craft items at already existing legendary workbenches.
Items obtained before the update are still available.
- Wearing the Marine wetsuit with either the Marine helmet or the Marine tactical helmet now allows you to breathe underwater and reduces radiation taken by 30%.
- Wearing the diving suit now also reduces radiation taken by 30%.
- Wearing the undamaged Hazmat suit or the Institute hooded working outfit now makes you immune to radiation as long as your health is above 50%.
Patchnotes of the version 3.0.6.
- Fixes an issue with Piper who was preventing the player from having deep interactions with her (Speaking about your relations, sending her back home, casual speaking).
This issue was caused by her unique perk making her undetectable as long as she was your active companion and you had more than 75% of your max health.
The 3.0.6 now makes Piper undetectable only when both of you are in active combat, meaning that while now you will be able to correctly interact with her outside of combat, you still won't be able to during combat, which isn't really an issue: you have more important things to do in combat than talking about your feelings for each other.
This interaction issue also affects Deacon, but only when he is sneaking, so if you desire to speak with him, simply stand up.
Note that for both Piper and Deacon, you can still initiate deep interactions with them even while in combat or when sneaking, the dialogue options simply won't appear until you are respectively out of combat and not sneaking.
