Fallout 4

You may be asking yourself, why milk patches? Well, this is because of the "milk problem." FO4 should've had Brahmin Milk as an item. It's in the lore. It was strongly featured in F:NV, and there are clearly recipes that would probably use it. The Slocum Joe's Workshop Creation Club Content tried to solve this by adding Brahmin Milk, but it added a milk that does rad damage in total contradiction of the lore (WTF?) Even Fallout 76, challenged as it is, got this right. Fallout 4 really fell asleep on the job.

So modders fixed the huge, glaring milk-shaped hole in this game. They added milk. All kinds of milk. Most notably, Wasteland Imports and Altairp's Animal Farm. Then, I added a milk. Mostly because I like creating problems for myself. Again, none of this would be an issue if they had put it in the game in the first place! If you're playing with a lot of mods, like most people who play Fallout 4, you could be potentially running around with three different Brahmin milks - one from Wasteland Imports, one from Altairp's Animal Farm, one from the CC Slocum Joe's Workshop, and then Brahmiluff Cream from my mod. That is the essence of the milk problem - so many different milks, all of which should really be the same item, but are different. I'm sure there are also plenty of other mods that have Brahmin milk I don't know about, so maybe you'd have even more!

These milk patches are to fix that. But there are many on your files page here! Which do I use? Only pick one, and the below will tell you which one. All of them assume you have this mod, CaptLaserBeam's Jampads. If you don't, well, feel free to reach out to your favorite other mod author to patch the milks. Downloading and using this mod is the price of admission to this world of patched milks, so to speak.

If you have the CC Slocum Joe's Workshop and just play with Wasteland Imports, pick "Milk Patch - Wasteland Imports and SJ Workshop"

If you have the CC Slocum Joe's Workshop and just play with Altairp's Animal Farm, pick "Milk Patch - Altairp's Animal Farm and SJ Workshop"

If you have the CC Slocum Joe's Workshop and play with BOTH Wasteland Imports and Altairp's Animal Farm, pick "Milk Patch - Wasteland Imports Altairp's Animal Farm AND SJ Workshop"

If you play with BOTH Wasteland Imports and Altairp's Animal Farm, but DO NOT HAVE the CC Slocum Joe's Workshop, pick "Milk Patch - Wasteland Imports AND Altairp's Animal Farm - No SJ Workshop"

These are all the permutations I could think of and should minimize/eliminate your milk problem. Feel free to run across the Wasteland now, leaving empty milk bottles and corpses in your wake.
