This pistol really balances well in the .308 version. In the beginning of the game ammo is so rare that you have to really be conservative and as ammo becomes more readily available the enemies become stronger and you cant one shot them anymore.
Had this downloaded over a week, but just got around to actually picking the weapons up a couple days ago.
From a technical standpoint, I've got no complaints. The meshes and textures all work fine, the fire and reload animations work correctly (and the reload animation looks QUITE good, I've got to say). Sounds haven't given me any trouble, either.
Pretty realistic from the gameplay side. Like the actual Contender and Encore, these things are kind of limited in their utility because of the rate of fire. Then again, ALSO like the real thing, this is a nice alternative to packing around a full-sized scoped rifle.
Question, though: any chance of getting a third variant of the .308 model, with an equipped silencer? Would be great for surreptitious removal of raiders/city guards (depending on which way your character swings on the 'ol karma scale).
