Years have passed, but I must say I agree with Anach, food, drugs, and other meds (aside from Stimpaks) are TOO available in a place that should be a Wasteland... I would also like to see those items loots get cut down.. A LOT.
Anyway, this mod works great, so: Endorsed.
Edit: Well, nobody seemed to tackle all chems, drugs, food, drinks, etc. so I did it myself, I reduced the amount of them in loot and containers, hopefuly this will make the Wasteland a much harder enviroment. Here: Wastelander Leveled Lists
Just need a similar mod to reduce ammo food and drug levels. I find so much ammo food and drugs that I dont bother looting it, or end up having to drop/sell it. Similar to how the stims used to be.
It's meant to be a wasteland where people struggle to survive, but there's so much Ammo, food and meds around that it's hard to believe.
It would certainly change things if one had to go out of their way to search for this stuff or grab it when we see it, like we do with stims thanks to this mod.
Would love to see loot in general get the same treatment as version 1.0 of this mod.
That would make exploring more important, give us something to spend that excess of caps on and go well with the "Basic Needs" mod.
Been playing with v1.0 of the mod for a few days and i say its just perfect. I usually have no more than 15-25 stims in my inv at all times and its actually difficult to find them.
Before this mod I would end up with 100's that id have to sell or drop them.
I also make better use of available food and drinks more than I used to, to try and conserve stims.
I just had to remove the price and weight change from the esp so it didnt conflict with my other mods.
This is a very good mod, does exactly what it says and what I wanted for a while. It does however, conflict with other mods that affect prices of anything else, such as ammo, regardless of order in FOMM.
Although I believe this is a much needed change, It's not compatible with my other med mods. So I might need to merge it later.
Stims are so common in vanilla, even on the "very hard" setting, that I always end up with far more than I can use and end up dropping the ones I cant sell to reclaim inventory (weight mod)
Having less stims will make other perks more important, such as the healing perks or damage reduction perks.
