    Any new power armor will still be lootable, so if they add them to NPCs you will be able to pick them off the corpses. Unfortunately there isn't really a way around it without making compatibility patches for every mod out there. If you don't plan on wearing the armor then you can open the mod up in FO3Edit and just flag all of the new Power Armor as unplayable, and then voila.

    You will, however, still not be able to wear said armor until you take the perk at level 13.

    I'm actually thrilled someone made a mod like this!

    I haven't even moved past lvl 7(?) and I already was witness of a fight between oucasts and raiders which netted me 4 PA. For a second I really felt this game is either over or it will get so hard that I need the best armor from Fallout to survive. And lets not talk about Wasteland...

    Great mod! I almost feel like playing Fallout 1 again lol
    But a version with no armor mod would be cool, cause i can't use my own armor mod whit it :'(

    Does the mod add carrying capacity to the suite will still having a weight? (basically a strong back temporary perk while the armor is being worn, equal to the weight or maybe more then the weight of the armor)

    Doing this keeps the "heavy weight" running penalty and sneak penalty while keeping the carrying weight un effected or better.

    It would be neat if you could still loot PA, and based on the item condition, you only get power armour parts for a beat up suit or you get a suit if it's close to pristine condition? That way you wouldn't have to change anything in the game world. I'm not sure how feasable this would be with the G.E.C.K. though. Maybe once some armour is looted, a script could check to see it's condition and replace it with parts if in poor shape?

    ^^^Unlikely I'll do something like that as the whole point is (for me) to prevent looting it off corpses, it just seems odd to me that you would be able to pull it off a corpse. Also, to me, it somehow gives power armor users a diminished role or feeling, when you just had a huge epic battle with a bunch of them in this supposedly rare armor, then moments later their all naked from you rifling their corpses. This way theres at least some sort of recognition that there was a big battle here.

    Been sitting on this but I've been to busy/lazy to implement it, was going to just release it when I got around to it but for the few people that use this, think I've got a way to randomize where the suits are placed (non-quests ones). So I can place a bunch and then the game will randomly pick a few that the player can actually see/pick up. Mostly it's for me since I know where the couple ones in-game are placed now, but I figure the few of you that will continue to use it would like it for future playthroughs as well, to keep the feel of rewarding exploration.

    maybe you could add a popp-up-message for the two lootable power armors, s.th. like:
    'you have found a special feature of this modified power armor, which allows you to open it and pull the corpse out'

    or

    'this prototype of a medicine power armor has the feature to restore the body of a living person, but it can be used to destroy a corpse, too...'
    => but then the corpse should be disabled via script,
    or s.th. like that
