This is a very, very nice mod, I love the M2, J8 and PSO-1 reticle, it feels like sniping for real.
However, the resolution I run with (1600x900) will cause the mod to glitch, the scope will have weird outer edges on left and right, which really sucks.
It is meant for New Vegas, but since Fallout 3 uses the same engine the fix will work, thanks to the fellow that found this fix and the lad who made the reticles.
This mod was a waste of time. If there's not going to be a clear indication of where you install the custom reticles, or even make it so it'll install seperately on the MO then there's no point in using it.
I wish I could use these in New Vegas. But alas I don't see that happening as they are 2 different games that use 2 different textures and I haven't been able to cleanly get it to work at all in NV.
thank you so much mate i really appreciate this, i have hated that terrible vanilla scope just awful. but this is amazing good job! going to download it right away because this i have really missed having hehe.
actually it is. if you read the full description you'll see it. C/P follows

Use this pack in one of two ways: 1. Copy and rename one of these files to Scope01.nif to replace all default crosshairs. 2. Use the files as a resource for weapon scopes in GECK. Do not rename the files, and credit me if you release a mod using any of them.

Good thing that there is a fix:

So you see, it's meant to be used BOTH ways.
