Converted this to use with TTW, and it seems to work well.

For those that don't want raiders permanently friendly towards you, simply don't download this mod! You can use the basic Mesmetron method. Save before you mezz a raider, zap them. If their head explodes or they don't turn into a friendly, reload. If they do turn into a friendly, talk to them and put the collar on. Exit dialog and save again. Talk to them to remove the collar. Reload if your science skill makes their head explode. Otherwise, you just made a friendly raider without any mods.

Myself, the above was all too much hassle. That's why I wanted this mod.

Considering what Adoniis said, you should really make this mod where you can turn it on/off whenever you please, because I don't want a mod that takes away fun from the game when I get bored of it.
    Thanks

Just figured out how to add the perk using player.addperk - you need to check the load order of your DLCs (easiest done using Fallout Mod Manager) and see the number associated with the mod. In my case it was 0A (the 10th mod I had installed in order) and so player.addperk 0A000EA6 added the perk with me no problems.

Adoniis is correct, though, through testing, even removing the mod doesn't set the raiders hostile to you again - the neutral setting is probably set using the factions, and removing the mod and the perk doesn't undo the faction setting changes.

Thanks for a simple, but nice mod. Raiders are a good source of income but at higher levels near level 20 it's almost cruel to keep killing them, and you'd imagine they'd learn not to shoot at you first, so this mod kind of fits that. The one downside is that it becomes a bit mean to farm that Big Guns skillbook at Bethesda as that respawning raider is no longer hostile.

The Base ID is 01000EA6, but for some reason it doesn't work with the player.addperk console command, and using the advlevel command is the only way to do it - does anyone know how to do it with the player.addperk command instead? It just feels safer, and of course you don't have to add skill points etc..

Another thing is while the raiders now don't attack me, their dogs still do, and while they're not threat it seems weird to kill their dogs when they're just walking around as if nothing happened.

I'm going to download this mod and try it out, as I want to be allied with all the raiders in my endless battles against hordes of Zombies spawning all over the Wasteland in my F3 lol ( Zombie Apocalypse Mod =P )
I'll comment after I have tried it out.
Btw, what Adoniis said about getting stuck for good with being allied with the raiders, even after you wish to become hostile with them again? Why does he not simply just deactivate the mod in the FOMM and that should remove the perk in-game anyways?
    Just a thought =P

how about adding script that makes them your ally only if your karma is bad... raiders are evil, they even leave fingers with lawbringer perk; it would be too easy to gain money by selling fingers
