Much better. They couldn't handle a Behemoth which popped up, but their survivability is much more satisfying now. I couldn't get my head around the idea that traders who follow regular routes wouldn't be prepared for wasteland uglies, especially after I invested in them.
great mod, at first i thought i wouldn't need this but I've run into several caravan cow things sitting there alone, then search a bit to find the bodies of its owner by a rad scorpion (and i have a lot of poo to sell). This mod is just what i needed. keep up the good work!
I started using this mod a while back and I've seen evidence that the two guards are still hard pressed sometimes. I'm now about to install the Increased Spawns mod and am very worried that doing so will cause the death of all the traders. Are there any plans to create an upgraded version of this mod, one which renders the traders and their guards as essential perhaps, or add another guard and again pumps their HP, skills, equipment, etc.? Alternately/additionally, perhaps we could be allowed to 'give' better equipment to the traders and guards once we've 'invested' in them. Equipping them with fully repaired Enclave power armor and plasma weapons would go a long way to keeping them alive.
It's good to see more variations of this type of mod there's being a few put out there now tackling this issue with npc's being squashed to easily by local wild life, without having to resort to much with nonessential classification.
In one particular mod the chap states that a lot of the npc's in the game world have a typical default health setting of between 5-50 which sure does explain why the npc's are getting stomped so easily, with the exception of a couple of special class figures.
You would have thought beth would have at least leveled them to 100 but there again maybe there leveled lower because they level up with the player as progress is made but surely that lower setting would only effect certain classes of npc's.

This is a must have for folks running increased spawn mods, thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for giving the trader a chance.

Lo Martigen,
