Too late, I saw it. ignore him. I posted on the mod the required repaired sequences and use this mod without any flaw's. there are 2 esp's for terrain. use of both at the same time will in fact break the game. " Lanscape" use only 1. do not run any Cp patches unless you actually have those mods installed. This mod contains programable creature features, multi spawn settings. for more creatures ever found in any monster mod built today. Blows away mmm. Ghoul mod's. Zombie mod's. you get the idea. Edit: BTW, I'm not a guy.
The best fallout3 overhaul you'll ever find, that fits directly into the game. in game terminal that allows you to reprogram everything. Load outs, spawn rates, weapons you won't find in other mods. resets if you want mid game. a small weather pack by default, no green tint, that's gone. You're on a modding site, you need to learn how, now the pictures are self-explanatory. Originally set up to use fomm or nmm.
so, you need to do a little work. it's worth it. jump in get your feet wet. what are you afraid of?
Hi again everyone, and special thanks for the info, Purr4me. I have done as you specified with the files.
There's just one thing I can't get around though. I have installed Fallout 3 Plugins, and followed the instructions in its readme regarding the installation pathway.
I tried creating new plugins but Fallout 3 Plugins showed me nothing but the esps of the mods previously installed and nothing on bsas or creating esps from scratch or from bsas.
Is there a software that I am missing? Or more to the point, how do I use FO3 Plugins to create these blank esps? Any further help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks everyone.
ok , there's a mishap that's taken place. the tool is a bit buggy if you make a mistake the first time using it. on first use your asked for the data directory. so your browsing for the games "DATA" folder. if you miss the target ? your not going to find anything. and its a royal pain to fix it.
this is where you'll find the config files you will need to remove to start over with the running of that tool. run the*.jar file directly from the games DATA folder. the*.jar file must reside with the esm's and esp's bsa. to work properly. I' would provide you with the blank files if were allowed but your progress varies.
I even went as far as to uninstall Fallout 3 and all my previous mods. I made a clean install and tried as you recommended. I'm still stuck in the same loophole.
What I did, as some users recommended, was run FO3T without the DLCs. The game ran, however, with texture glitches with armours AND with the infamous red exclamation mark for weapons..... I don't have other mods for armour/weapons. I even went as far as to disable/uninstall the FO3 unofficial patch.
*sighs* It seems as if the game doesn't want me to play it.
I sent an invite to your PM to mY discord server to show a little respect for this person comment section here on the nexus. there we can sort things 1 on 1 EDIT: ya know after thinking about what you said about the game on 'it's own show in game " exclamation "marks? That means your game is corrupted from the start. C"\Games\Fallout 3. please move your files to that path before you begin modding it. Do Not use default -"C:\Program Files (x86)" windows WILL interfere with your games files. next I'll ask you point blank, source of your game? so you know , I own all published games from steam/GOG/and Microsoft. I know what there is that can go wrong or right with the games you may have installed. I own more PC equipment than you can dream of. There's not much that escapes me when people are up front with their issues. this was an observation.
It looks like an awesome mod, but unfortunately it's not working.
I tried everything. I followed the load order instructions to the letter. I even disabled all the other mods and used just this one.
I even manually adjusted the load order.
I'm told (on Mod Organizer), that either the plugins are not working, or that it failed to access Anchorage.esm (access is denied)
Vortex was of no help
LOOT kept telling me that the plugins was read-only, it wasn't, and no amount of working around it helped.
The game launches, however, instead of giving me the menu screen, it just stops at the screen where there's this dude in power armour but no commands to load, continue, start a new game, etc.
Any help would be appreciated, as I like both games and would love to try this mod.
you need to follow MY instructions to the letter if you wish to play this mod at all, Vortex or MO2 will not be able to install this mod period as IS. Now I went through the trouble of posting the images for that very reason. follow the instructions.
you Download this mod Manually. you extract the contents and create the blank file names as plugins so the game engine pick's up the extra bsa archives. just follow my posts and you'll survive just fine. this is my favorite overhaul mod. NOTE: do not allow both dead and Living plugins to run at the same time, choose 1 or the other .do not allow CP patches to run unless you have those mods installed as well. the game Will lock up.
Thanks. I tried something similar to this, but it didn't work.
I did use the Dead, not Living, Landscape, and yes, I had all the CPs deleted when I extracted the files altogether. I copied the esms and bsas into the Data folder.
I'll do as you suggest and see what transpires. Thanks again.
I've had similar problems. The mod won't show up in my plugin tab on the Mod Manager, so that's the most obvious problem. I'm just hoping the Mod Author picks up our problem, and lets us know how to fix it.
You mean this as a replacement? all you guy's need to do is download and rename the items listed in this picture, the packages need to look like this; and you can now repack it in 7z or zip or winrar for your manager and the data will now work.
How ever, you need to make the Blank plugins so the game will load those bsa's correctly. When you do this, your in for a real eye opener. use this to make your blanks with using the archives names, NOTE: the names need to be renamed to fit the appropriate files plugin's names. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/5104?tab=files&file_id=78944 Every Byte of information is clearly visible to any one who reads and downloads these images. holy s#*!, this is well made! i haven't heard anybody talk about it, and it's a shame that it's so.. underrepresented for a lack of better words. i want to download it but does it work with fwe, fook, eve, impact, exe or other such mods?
fwe is a different mod at this point. eve, mmm and all others are also updated to the point where i don't see these compatibility patches even working anymore
i use nmm and with FWE it works fine seen no incompatibilities the mod adds a bunch of recipes though which I don't know what they use to make them but if its the workbench then its not compatible with craft which comes with FWE
well that's a surprise. i never craft anything at the craft station so it should be no problem. the only problems that i might encounter is with that i use not only fwe and mmm, but fook, eve, exe, impact and fo3 redesigned. most of these are updated long after this mod released so i'm still cautious.
Better Late than never, a shame to let a good mod go to waste, supporting an older mod has it's own rewards so I'll pitch in here kinda late.
I read a lot of complaints here, mostly crashing the Fallout 3 game and had to figure out what was more common place.
Only interest was the crashing, non game startups and similar issues involved.
They say a picture can speak a thousands words so I made a couple of screen shots as to what you need to do to fix the most common issues for A better outcome.
Please study the pics in detail and examine all the files you downloaded in a separate folder to contain the packages in order to make the correct repairs to the files BEFORE you install them.
The ( 0 ) package there was a space between the v and the 4 in the name sake. Using 7z logic or any mod manages scripting engines to decrypt the files correctly, I had to rename the downloads to the appropriate terminologies. the above is what you need to end up with.
Please make sure you have all of these files so you can repackage or install what you think you want. there ARE choices of mod managers currently to choose from but at least you know now what the issues were.
Just can't understand temporaly healing. I use stimpack and wait for about 30 hours before healing buff is gone, is that normal? Same thinf with other food and drink? it takes much more time tnan it wroted in "Documentation"
