I second this, adding directly to the NV data textures directory works C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\textures I thought it was odd that inside the textures folder there was no default pipboy folder. basically i thought it would be overwriting something, but in fact all I did was place the pipboy3000 folder found in this mod download file into the textures folder and in game it works, got myself a scratched up pipboy. hope this helps somebody someday
Yes, they will return to the original textures (but remember to clear your Archive Invalidation.txt).
Although, if you don't like the broken screen texture, don't delete full folder - just delete screenglare.dds file from this folder. And, of course, his line in the Archive~ file.
I have been using these textures since you released them, and I do still like the overall rusty beaten look of the Pip-boy housing, but the scratches on the screen are starting to get annoying to me. If I delete the files in the textures/pipboy3000 folder for the screen, will it screw anything up or will the game just revert to using the textures for the screen stored in the .bsa file?
