"Probably the best vending machine in the world" - interestingly, the slogan I'm parodying wasn't created by and for Carlsberg but "Carlsberg UK" (a joining of Carlsberg with Tetley in the 1970s). Carlsberg UK then merged with Marstons plc in 2020 to become "Carlsberg Marstons". If you're keeping track of ownerships, the parent Carlsberg company owns half of that, but will prob buy out the other half ahead of opening the moon's first brewery. "The moon?" I hear you ask in disbelief. But of course, where else could they go? - they're already everywhere on earth...
Britain was the first country Carlsberg exported to, way back in mid-1800s, but later brewed it in Britain - indeed, since 1970s all Carlsberg drunk in Britain (even Carlsberg Export) is made in Britain. Until recently most Carlsberg drunk in US was actually Carlsberg UK, but I'm sure it's now made in US. Carlsberg does this a lot, making its products in the country it's drunk as soon as numbers make it viable, buying out small old breweries where poss, or joining with other big brewers to create joint-venture/daughter companies. Outside of Denmark very few of you will have drunk Danish Carlsberg. Many would've drunk Carlsberg UK for decades but most of you will now drink your local version.
And if you're still reading, almost all Guinness (which is actually a London Porter) exported around the world was brewed in Britain, for nearly a century, until EU support & Irish tax breaks helped move it to Ireland in 2004. Interestingly, maybe due to Brexit or Guinness now being part of Diageo, or the local brewing fad, Guinness is to re-open an old 1722 brewery in London - where the very first Guiness brewer came from.
Hah Carlsberg... Brand of my home country... i am afraid i'm the only Dane here at Nexus... Thanks for the great modding hope you will work on the carlsberg bottles maby even add several more i also use your map markers mod... thanks for that as well sorry my bad spelling Ronnie (the gratefull Dane)
One of the best things that happened to me while in the U.S. Navy was finding Carlsberg Beer!! To this day it is still my favorite although here in the U.S. it can be very hard to find.So this mod is great... brings back a lot of great memories... and now the urge to find someplace to buy and purchase a case!
Great retexturing! If you want a real challenge, I've got one for you. a full set of pimped-out weapons (bejeweled, gold plated, silver trimmed, ect). Nothing screams 'Master of Post Apocoliptia' like a Golden Mini Gun!
