Good mod, but could it be possible to set this up without the need for bottlecaps? The mod is well executed and functions well. But I feel that having to use bottlecaps to repair an item isnt very useful or even immersive.

Very good mod, works exactly as promised. Possibly a bit overpowering, especially as you can use any workbench, even in somewhere hostile like Fort Bannister. Maybe should have included a cap on how high you can repair at a workbench or made you pay double caps or something like that. But there is a hidden balance with this mod: if you repair everything yourself, merchants won't have as many caps to buy the loot you bring home.
I love this mod! Now I have a use for all those caps I collect and I don't need to keep a supply of extra equipment to cannibalize. Just a note - I discovered this mod must be loaded after Achievement Remover (3813) or else you cannot repair. Of course, your mod will add that achievement back, but that's only one for the system to track out of 72 (unless I find other conflicts). Thank you for this mod!!
This is one of those mods that feels like it should be in the vanilla game. Since it scales with your own Repair skill, it feels very fair to do, and I think it makes sense lorewise as well. There would obviously be a difference between fixing something out in the wastes, when you need to break down another item to fix something, and when you're at home, with a fully stocked workbench. 5/5, hands down.
