So please use the 'NMC Texture pack' as this is a very old mod now. Many of the textures such as the road and other texture have been updated plus you will get thousand of new textures covering most aspects of the game.
@ All, don't forget there is a full texture pack that cover most of the textures in the game, that includes this terrain mod. I would advise using that instead of this mod. See my last post for the link. Enjoy!
That is a limitation of the ever so ancient and ever so crappy gamebryo engine, it can draw dynamic light only on so many surfaces at once. Once the limit is hit, remaining surfaces remain unlit.
This issue is btw still present in Skyrim to this day. Way to improve Bethesda. Especially after bullshitting everyone with lies about how Skyrim won't use gamebryo. /ramble off
Thank you very much for this textures, they are a must for me. There is only one issue. I don't think, that it's an error in the textures, but in the engine, but maybe somenone knows, how to fix that. When you look around with PipBoy light on, it seems, like some n-maps on the ground are sometimes disappearing. it can be seen too with Streetlights on and especially, when there are two ground-meshes together: one ground has n-map, the other not. Is there any fix for that, maybe ground meshes oder cell propertys with a missing flag set?
Hello,First of all this is a great texture, I have a problem, My game Crashes everytime when I use the Rock ultra texture pack, do you know why? I have a descent gaming rig with a high end graphic card, I get 60 FPS set on ultra settings everything maxed out, but the game still crashes every 2-5 mins, I also changed the Fallout3.ini to be compatible with quad core CPU's. What can I do? Thanks.
Edit:I think I figured the problem,I was tweaked some distant settings from the .ini file, now I changed all to default settings, i tested the game like 10 mins everything seems normal. I'll update my Graphic card driver maybe that solves the override settings. thanks again.
