Not sure if it's working, I just told Dogmeat to go home from within my home at Megaton and he disappeared. The pop-up that came up said he went to vault 101's entrance.
edit: He did indeed show up in front of vault 101. I tried again from there, still stayed in front of vault 101, so I guess this mod isn't working?
Anyone still bugged by the limited movement of the mutt inside the house, there is an easy fix using FO3edit: Open the "Package" tab in the "Dogmeat_WaitMegaton" mod. Look for an entry called "Radius". Then change that value from 35 to 200. This will make him "un-stuck" from that corner of the shack and let the mutt roam around more freely. And it is a lot faster and easier than changing the marker he is tied to, plus this is not interfering with stuff other house mods place inside the shack. He'll still gravitate towards that corner, but I simply placed his dogbowls there, so at least for me, it kinda makes sense now^^.
Dogmeat will be waiting right next to one of the broken pipes in megaton. It's easy to find him and so far this mod haven't failed or malfunctioned, endorsed!

I like this mod but can you make dogmeat to wait outside the megaton house? Also can you make a new purchase with moira brown like a puppy house I know it's stupid but if I have a dog I like to wait and stay outside my house like in a backyard, in this case outside the house and not inside (because megaton house isn't spacious) I don't know tenpenny room but I think is more bigger that megaton house so waiting in the room is ok. Or maybe purchasing a dog house and put in the backyard inside the tower. Just ideas... =)
If you tell a companion to wait in a certain spot, they will return to their default spot (Dogmaet: Vault 101, Fawkes: Underworld, etc.) after a while. Dogmeat staying outside of Vault 101 is a pain in the ass, making this mod useful.
I got what seems to be a bug. I installed the mod with FOMM and used archive invalidation and when I began the game the command to go to Megaton was there so I used it later when I return to my house Dogmeat wasn't there. I look around the house and in the city but to no bail. After that I went to vault 101 to check but it wasn't there. He has completely disappear from the game. That's the only mod I have that change anything on the dog. Any help you can provide please!
