I uploaded the Zombie Apocalypse mod. Only now, it is modified so that the zombies don't use one model they use multiple zombie models added by MMM. My Zombie Apocalypse.esp requires MMM. Zombie Apocalypse adds thousands of spawns of MMM Ghouls with unique zombie scripts that have a chance to infect humans and unique roaming AI.
The original author of Zombie Apocalypse is FoxtrotZulu, who was banned from Nexus, along with his upload. All credit for my mod goes to him, I simply edited his ZombieEasy creature to follow a random-model-spawning template, his original scripts remain intact. His mod spawns zombies all around the player using an intelligent spawning script compatible with everything. His mod is the only effective zombie mod for fallout 3. It is brilliant. The only drawback was that the zombies all looked the same. I edited the ESP, so now the zombies are ghouls, but they have around 9 variations. Examine the template setup of ZombieEasy Creature in Zombie Apocalypse.esp using fo3edit to easilyy add your own variations, by duplicating the creature variation you wish to add to "Zombie" into ZombieApocalypse.esp, by first adding the ESP or ESM that contains your desired creature record as a Master to ZombieApocalypse.esp, then duplicating the creature record into ZombieApocalypse.esp and renaming it. Then add a reference to the creature record to the leveled creature list that ZombieEasy references as it's template: (VarFeralGhoul1XXX). Then make your creature record use template data, and the template that all the other zombie creature variations use: (CrFeralGhoul1AXX)
Love it, dont find your animations too sucky at all, slowing them down has restored balance between them and the cannibals / blackwatch in obscurum, and makes them much more like the films I love, if I could would endorse twice.
okay, staying away from "racist" thing or whatever, lol. This is an awesome mod. I use it in Fallout New Vegas with increased ghoul spawns. I have converted it over for myself, it is a 2 min job, was wondering if you planned to post it on the Fallout New Vegas Nexus page so others can enjoy it in New Vegas?
Really? People are going to whine because it "racist"? No, not racist. If they can be called zombies on shows and other games and whatnot, then it's more than ok to call them zombies in Fallout. Afterall, it IS what they are. They just prefer Ghouls to seem more human. Besides, it's a game people, just play it and chill out. I endorse this mod btw, 10/10.
I'm not entirely sure why someone said that it's "racist". What it does is renames ghouls "Zombies", and replaces some of their animations so they don't run. I am a Zombie Fanatic, and I made this so I could essentially play a nuclear based zombie apocalypse, because I like zombies.
It's only "Lore wise" if you enjoy people being called racial slurs.
That being said... not exactly a bad thing. I'm sure the Ghouls wouldn't agree, cause to them, it's the Z-Word.
You guys gonna vote me down, too? It's only true that "Zombie" is a racist term. That's why the Enclave use it to refer to the Ghouls... since they're on the evil track.
