Old version worked for me. The newer one using the default script did not. Suspect this is because I have the unofficial patch. Either that or some other script is messing with the default variables. I often find that entirely new scripts, even copies of the original given a new formid will work in cases where the original does not.
I tested this by running through some of the metros killing raiders with A3-21's Plasma Rifle and Paradox Ignition's EVE.esm installed, and then using the PCB command when I went outside (I noticed that the piles didn't immediately disappear when I changed interior cells or went outside and then immediately returned). After using PCB, the goo piles had disappeared, confirming that the mod works, it just requires the cell to reset at the most in order to work. I haven't personally witnessed it removing an Ash Pile or a Goo Pile immediately after leaving the interior cell it was in (or any cell for that matter), but it must work otherwise the piles would still be there after using PCB, wouldn't they?
