This is the only mod of this kind I've found. It's perfect for my character as well as for making the Meresti Vampires more lore friendly. Thanks for making it available
This.... is perfect for the npc cannibals vance and his crew, would be neat if it could be made exclusively for them(and also to be applied to player if they take cannibal perk)
Haha cool, you know this kinda' gives me the idea of making Cat out of Red Dwarf into a companion, I wonder if it can be done.... now all I need is Cats hairstyle.
Is this compatable with the type 3? That seems to overight quite alot of stuff and im not sure if I am getting the Mod to work properly. Normally I have no trouble. I am a seasoned Mod installer and have no troube what so ever.
I also have the ZuBrak, Geonox Alien installed too not to mention the Glowing eyes resorce. As well as the Bittercup restyle for the companion Mod. Any conflicts there for being reason for no fangs showing up? None of the vanilla races have the fangs showing. I have the hair pack and all. The eye color change is evidence. Sorry to be a bother, just like to have a change of scenery for a bit.
Cheers.
* Oh also to mention I have your Kaw Cat outfit too as a Back up, still no change. Must be a overide somewhere. is it possible to make the fangs a addon like place it as a nose ring or ear rings in the armor placement screen? Its possible but a bot of work to undertake, as of Yet I dont have the know how.
This mod looks pretty slick, a real nice addition for those who like the vamp play. I was wondering, is there any way you could release a version that is selective to only Vance and his people? It would certainly fit them well.
I looked into the merged mouth, and managed to make a pointed teeth merged mouth. However, the tri (animated morph?) file generated from the merged mouth is not working well that some vertexes of teeth meshes is not moving with other parts. (I used the vanilla tri file to generate tri/egm fils for this mod the same way, they are working well as planned though.)
I have no idea how to merge seperate tri into one, the merged mouth tri, the the Obvilion bases tool "The Conformulator" is all I have at hand. Seems I hit bottle neck now.
I'll try if there are any other ways if time availabe. I'll update the results here when available.
Sorry I didn't reply so long, and thanks for the suggestions.
I've been really busy these days, almost no time to think about games/mods, I'm not sure if I can figure out a total solution to make all function properly only for PCs in short.
Maybe it could be used as an equipment, I'll need to test if it replaces original mouth components when appointed as a "mouth part" in GECK, or it may show doubled teeth.
And another issue is while taliking, the lower teeth must move with jaw movement, I'm not sure if it can do the same as an equipment.
Instead of just rename to replace the original meshes/textures, I changed the "race" component on GECK, thus I can control not every npc have pointy teeth, but there is no "PC" only race, so all similiar age/race NPCs have pointy teeth too. (I think it's cute though.)
However, for a custom race (instead of Vanilla races) , it's very possible and easy to let your PC get pointy teeth, but not NPCs (sice none of NPCs belongs to your custom race.)
Why I didn't create a esp file for these custom (mod) races is because I didn't try them all, and many new races may come out in the future.
Before I could figure out a total solution, I'll suggest to make your own custom race mod if you want.
To make a custom race with pointy tooth is not a very complex thing. Just do the following steps. 1.back up the custom race esp file for insurance 2.lauch GECK 3.load (open folder icon) your custom race mod esp (do NOT set as active) 4.find the "charcter "pull down menu 5.open "race" option inside "charcter" menu 6.find your custom race on the left list, click it, you see it high lighted. 7.click on "face data" tab on the race menu 8.look for "Teeth(Lower)", change the path to my meshes*(CleanTeethLower.nif)/textures(cleanTeethLower.dds) by pressing the Edit button. 9.look for "Teeth(Upper)",change the path to my meshes*(FangTeethUpper.nif)/textures(Fangs.dds) by pressing the Edit button.
*If you use it for children races, please notice there is another set of teeth meshes dedicated to male children and female children, you should use them instead of adult teeth meshes.)
10.save (floppy disk icon) your changes to the race. Give it a name whatever you like.
11.Lauch the game with your race mod and the mod you just saved without any of teeth esp I made. (The teeth mod should be loaded later than original custom race mod.)
That's it. I'll try to make a better solution when time available, maybe it's beyond my ability, I'm not sure. But I will update here if there is any progress.
Oh, I'll look into the eyelashes mod to see what I can do for the compatibility problem when time available. And it's fine for anyone to include any part of my mod for their own purposes/mods.
the author obviously enjoys the ubiquitousness of pointy teeth in his/her game.
whilst i admit that this does leave a "no mans land" of questions and choices for those who might not enjoy such a thing, i see such problems as worthy challenges for inexpert modders like myself.
the author is not a native english speaker and might have more difficulty than might be imagined in explaining such a procedure clearly and conscisely enough for general comprehension.
as the only person to have owned up to succeeding at this task so far, SpcSpectre might be kind enough to share his findings...

This mod will not be updated further. I suggest to visit above mod if you are interested.

I'm using a tool originally designed to make hair mods of Obvilion following this tutorial written by Josef Grey and Throttlekitty (Thanks a lot by the way.)
