The backpacks don't supply the power/ammo directly because there is no visible connection to the main gun. Unless, of course, you imagine there is and perhaps that's what Beth intended... Or, maybe it just wasn't a priority at the time... It's a small thing for sure but it does break immersion - for me anyway - so I'm definitely using the packless Gatling.
Personally, I feel the backpack on the minigun makes some sense... I just imagine that's where you'd hold extra ammo boxes. It breaks my immersion when I can just pull a big old ammo box out from my trouser pocket. I guess it's up to the imagination to decide. Endorsed!
Hello, this looks like a great mod, but could someone possibly port this to New Vegas! i would also be very happy if someone could link me to page that helps me do it my self in the G.E.C.K (if thats a thing in New Vegas?) or just walk me through it?
