Halleluja! When I even decided to move away all modes because of the everlasting crashing this patch being installed solved the problem. Fake patches only made the things worse maybe because I have copy-protected Russian 1C version. Many thanks to Mr Hammond
Wow, ctd after 10~20 seconds of gameplay....What the heck is this?... Congrats, Bethesda... btw I have all the DLCs, FOOK, MMM, WMK, COMM, GTS, Iceland, and just some weapon mods...
definitely 10-worthy fixed up my problems with point lookout, (water, general ugliness, crashes [except the sacred bog one, thats a MMM conflict, just tcl through it or movetoqt] and the multitude of mesh problems back in the capital wasteland) as well as making the game all round much smoother and easier to play, with only a fraction of the amount of CTD's i had before.
With this patch my game doesn't crash on exit anymore. After about 10 hours of play it also seems to be more stable for me. I never used fake patch or any of that, so I can't comment on that. I do use mods though and I'm not having issues with my mods (but I didn't have issues with them in 1.5 either).
With this patch the game becomes very stable!(played the new DLC for nearly 5 hours and no crash so far.) It fixes the .esp addon save issues in v1.5 + the unstable VATS in patch v1.4(not completely but it won't affect the gameplay).
Highly recommanded for people who still have v1.4 patch. - The official Website's v1.6 patch note does not mention the fixes about the v1.5 Save Crash issue with .esp files; however it is fixed with v1.6!(It probably won't be addressed because the issue is not 100% fixed. There are still tons of mods that do not go well with v1.6.)
I can finally play the game with out crashing on mod updates! changing zones ect. !!! Still crashes sometimes on quickload, but restarting the game and loading works. Its a lot better now that I can play!!

Most stable patch i have used to date, less CTD issues then 1.7 has given me.
Yay for fixing all those damn conflicts with mods!!!
I have to say for the first time. I can play none stop for 8 hrs. An NO CTD or Freezes. well done!!
Fixed CTD when exiting game, fixed missinig Point Lookout water texture, no problem with VATS and MOD friendly
