Im not sure if its just me, but when i install the files (i do as listed and correctly, copy and replace the textures file ect) and ive managed to get the came background on my pipboy, but the boy itself wont change colour
thanks wogz187 i made the needed updates to the information listed. and also thanks for posting the tips on extending my FOV on the Pipboy i always wondered why it looked so closed off but never tried editing or tweaking my fallout ini.
I think you did a capable job with the texture but I have a suggestion for the screenshots and perhaps to increase the game experience.
1) Navigate to My Computer/My Games/Fallout 3/Fallout 3.ini
2) Use ctrl+F to locate the line: fPipboy1stPersonFOV=
3) Change the value to 70 so the line looks like: fPipboy1stPersonFOV=70
4) Save your changes and exit.
This one-time edit will allow more of the Pipboy to be displayed. Check out this screen for an example.
You may also wish to add a comment to your description/readme which advises anybody using the XBOX 360 controller needs to create a New Folder titled Xbox to place within the Pipboy 3000 Texture folder- and to install your textures there. Otherwise (with the controller enabled) your textures won't show up in-game.

Hope that helps.
