For any texture replacement u must change Binvalidateolderfiles=0 to binvalidateolderfiles=1 in your fallout.ini. This file is located in your documents directory under my games. Also you need a Archiveinvalidation.txt file in your fallout directory(not the data folder). There is one provided in my high res pack if u have trouble creating one of your own. Both my packs have the required text to be placed in this file listed.

    Ok, fixxed it.
the extraction path for the folders puts most the files under armor/subfolder.

and in the ArchiveInvalidation.txt it is refrencing them under different paths.

I changed the locations to match ArchiveInvalidation.txt.

I changed setting to the .ini in my docs,
I added the files to the ArchiveInvalidation.txt
    still no neat darker textures...
    I am at a loss.
