Do the vendors only sell the cookbooks once? I accidentally sold them not realising that the notes can't be used to cook. Then, the shop reset before I realised my mistake. I cheated them back after, but they don't come up with a workshop menu.

I actually really like this mod. Enough to have uninstalled and reinstalled every other mod multiple times in an attempt to save it. I die a little inside every time I see my fridge, full of ingredients I can't use. Any help would be appreciated!

After installing this mod I go into the store in megaton. The store that has the milk pasteurizer and the milk pasteurizer is to the left of the table and floating. Is there any way to fix this? Its very annoying.

It's due to the Unofficial Patch. For some reason they moved the counter all the way to the back of the store. I have reported it to the UFO3P guys. If you want to fix it, you can remove the edits to the store in xEdit.

If you're having issues with NPC's not selling the cookbooks, you need to add some Bash tags to the FalloutFood.esp and rebuild or create a Bashed Patch. You have another mod in your load order that is overriding the AI changes Fallout Food makes. Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch will fix issues like this.

Open Wrye Bash and add the Actors.AIData tag to FalloutFood.esp. Then rebuild your Bashed Patch.

    Details

    • Open Wrye Bash and click on FalloutFood.esp.
    • Click + sign next to Bash Tags: on the right side of the window.
    • Click Actors.AIData
    • Click on blank area outside tag list box to accept tag and close box.
    • Right-click on Bashed Patch and select Rebuild Patch.

Hey guys I added my own extension to this file to give it a CRAFT like menu system enabled from the grills placed by Coleen . Changes the books so they only give notes when you read them. Having the notes means you can cook more. I have not not modified the mod or assets in any way. I have not changed the stats of the food in any way. I have simply added the menu option and that's it! You can download it here http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20150/?

Coleen I hope you are okay with this I have followed your legal guidelines and gave credit. I really enjoy this mod and I did this only to keep it in line with FWE/CRAFT and make the game more consistent. Tank you for this awesome mod! I have so much fun with it. Is the closest thing to New Vegas Fallout 3 ever had.

Any chance for a compatibility version with the hardcore mode ported from New Vegas?

    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/23874

Some items are spawning in as old school FO3 items with instant healing and no FOD or H2O stats, and other items are spawning in with new stats... I have two different versions of stimpacks in my inventory

Greetings. I apologize in advance if I missed something important. I'm still learning about all this modding stuff, so I don't quite understand this error I'm getting in the Vortex mod loader.

I get something that says the mod is incompatible. When I click for more information, it says this, "FalloutFood.bsa -  is loaded by FalloutFood.esp, but is intended for use in Oblivion."

I did a small bit of internet research to find out more about these types of files, and learned that esp files can be used to extract bsa files, or something to that effect. I'm not quite sure how to go about this though.

Votex will say about few other mods, what it mean's from what I googled, is some mods used another games creation kit to create mods for this game,
Because and I think, creation kit for fo3 wasn't out yet...

    Hello
Was looking for something to cook food in game, and not have rads every time I ate something after cooking it , but the coffee side of this, in the description -- " Activate an urn with a coffee cup in the player's inventory to receive a piping hot cup of coffee " will this conflict with the coffee mod Animated and Functionals Coffee Brewers https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/23878 ??
Guess I'll find out , and report back ...
Re Edit - Ok I wont be keeping this mod, it actually replaces that coffee machine with this one and things gives +rads coffee =/ the other one gives you just coffee * more animation than anything _) gives you per +1
And from I saw so far, much of the food gave you higher rad , wait what ?? =/

EDIT: Nevermind. I started using FWE instead and everything seems to be working. Many thanks for this! This mod plus the primary needs element of FWE almost makes for a Falloutesque version of Necessities of Morrowind.
Just a heads up to anyone that's wondering... this mod is NOT compatible with the original, standalone version of RI - Primary Needs. (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2125/?)
