Could be an older version of Gatling Tesla mod too I haven't updated it. Either way I'm good and it sounds like with the latest version of Gatling Tesla. If I feel adventuresome I may try installing the latest version and see if that solves my issue. Could be a load order issue with some other mod that I've got too.
Well ive tried it out with the Gatling Tesla mod (note: some comments got lost where digitalares stated the Gatling Tesla MkIII mod is in conflict with this one) but didnt cause the conflict you mentioned. Althou GT does modify some vanilla resources causing the carbine use some same effects. That why i make a duplicate of vanilla resources and modify those if i change something.
Maybe you should try to load all your mods in FO3Edit and check if theres any conflicts (red lines) in my Pulse Carbine mod.

In fallout mod manager use button toggle invalidation and click apply invalidation-Link- Fallout mod manager
