   Got the exact same problem. Good to know someone found a fix in the past year since bettsy posted this. Oh well.

   when i am in the cooling area, where it's flooded, i flipped a switch turning off one of the rotors, but when i went back into the airlock which i think i'm surposed to do, the door closes, it goes black as if loading but it never ends, it just stays black, then after about 10 minutes of darkness fallout3 stops responding.
   
   how can i fix this?
