When the description for this mod tells you that you need bInvalidateOlderFiles to be 1,.. do I still need to do that when automatically downloading the mod with Vortex (Mod Manager)? ? Like, does vortex handle all of that biz on it's own? ?
Can't seem to get it to work, I've tried using nmm it and then changing the ini as specified, and I've tried downloading it manually, extracting the files to the data folder and then changing the ini as specified but it still isn't working. please advise?
Are you aware that FOOK2 uses your sound fx overhaul? I only said something because I dont see you given credit anywhere on the FOOK2 page and or in the actual file
I agree with eragi... Firefights have some force behind them now. Just an example'' the sawed off shotgun was silenced with vanilla, I used to get shot at by raiders with this gun and only hear the pellets hitting the turf. Though the game has a strange way of reducing gun sound volume way to quickly as one distances himself from the epicenter, this mod helps reduce that problem. total success.
I am absolutely baffled by how these sound effect mods aren't more popular. The default Fallout 3 gun sounds were an utter joke, a lot of them anyways. Quite honestly, this deserves to be on teh top 100 list (and on the top half of it.)

every single time i try to install it in NMM
manual install provides no sound changes either with archive invalidation or the invalidateolderfiles=1
