This mode is no longer working. Save before you meet autumn (before going into the hall with Sarah), turn off all modes, reload the game then Broken Steel starts after the end.
This is the only solution to the problem, thank you. This mod is not the solution for when you get past the movies but are still stuck on the bed. HOWEVER, I leveled with the completion of the quest, and because I turned off all the mods to get there, the leveling process HARD FREEZES the game and I can't even save. *Update* Only way out was to tell Elder Lyons to f-off in the dialogue, which gave me enough time to save the game and exit before the damn leveling screen came up. Then, put all the mods back in, then reload and level *thankfully* worked. Wow what a mess.
This is a lifesaver! Running FWE and couldn't progress past Project Purity, this fixed it right up first shot. Thank you, you saved a 80 hour run from being trashed.
Im getting a message from Vortex saying its missing masters from FOOK2 for the FOOK2 patch. Im assuming i dont actually need FOOK2 for this to work, right?
For some reason it won't work anymore. Tried everything.
The solution was that I needed to set a normal race (with the showracemenu commant), dismiss all companion and disable all the mods.
Then restart the last part where the Prime was walking (finally working, after resurrecting Vargas) then correctly using Fawkes (with all mods if I told him to go, Lyons goes in instead, idk why) and Broken Steel started.
The sad thing is that I needed to re-add all my items from the various mods (with a previous save and the inv command I noted down all the IDs and built a txt "bat" file for the game).
It's strange because this fix was working 5 years ago (last time I played), idk if some mod files went rot or something
Fixed my problem! I sat through the ending cutscenes for the base game almost 10 times before I got lucky and figured out it was caused by my race being from a mod and not one of the base races.
I followed directions exactly to the letter. extracted to the data folder, loaded the plugin last and I'm still waking up under the bed or something. Am I missing something here?
