Fantastic texture! Really makes this weapon more unique. Better than *cough* SirSmokeALot's Terrible Shotgun *cough*. Nah his was ok, but I like this version better ">
No promises, but that would be an interesting next project. My texturing skills are not as good as boxhead's, though, (he produced the textures I used in this mod).
Most images I've seen, only the frame and fittings are brass, all the moving parts and everything that get hot eg the action, the bolt, and the barrel and shroud would be gunmetal or blued. Of course we can produce pink .22 rifles, so the Fallout Universe could have been able (pre war) of a brass effect all over a gun.
That's very generous of you, thanks. I'm just glad it fills your request adequately.
Thanks again for the tip. Unfortunately I am struggling to understand texture sets. I could easily retexture the base Combat Shotgun with texture sets, which is overkill ">, but not the Terrible Shotgun. As far as I can see it still requires cloning the nifs, as it uses the combat shotgun's nifs. There is some step I am missing.
Do you know of any good Texture Set tutorials? The video on the G.E.C.K Wiki got me up and running, but also left questions unanswered.
The esp and nifs are there because that is the only way I could figure to retexture the Terrible Shotgun without affecting the other combat shotguns. Suggestions to improve the mod are welcome, I am sure it could be done more efficiently.
You can Use "textures set" in the geck for retex one weapon, one armor, or one landscape.

That's very generous, thanks. It wouldn't have been possible without your textures.
