One thing I've noticed while running the mod (both bloatfly and molerat), the molerats would turn aggressive onto raiders and others attacking me, much like with the Animal Friend perk. This has occured only a few times yet, though.
I'd love a mod like this that would tweak all wild animals in a way that would make them attack at random (some would be hungry, some would be defending territory, others would just not be interested in my presence). That would be great.
one side effect, though, is that since ratties are no longer aggro towards everything non-ratty, the robots at roboco never activate.
on the plus side, that makes the quest to the roboco factory (part of the survival guide), much less of a hassle, since there are only cockroaches left as enemies.
Good job. For me it's not just the fact that it's annoying to fight bloatflies, it's more that it just doesn't make sense for them to attack a guy in a power armor with a gatling laser. I don't find the wasteland that exciting, it's too empty. So I will not use this mod as is. What would be great if some attacked and some did not, like some Mole Rats were starving and some had just eaten and same for Bloatfly's, so when you saw one, you would not be sure. At the moment, without this mod they will always attack, which is a bit silly, and with this mod, they never attack, and that is just as silly!
Bloatfly's are the new cliffracers. They're so annoying and this is more realistic. Not every single thing in the wasteland is gonna aggro, ya know? Molerats I'll keep on though. I mean, you gotta use the Animal Friend perk for something.
Thanks. I waste so much ammo having to kill those things. When you restrict yourself to carrying only two weapons, and limited ammo, the game becomes very difficult when you have to keep killing these things.
