i am HIGHLY confused. whats so special about this mod? it gives you third person view? but the game already HAS third person view. so what does this do that the game in vanilla doesn't already let you do?
The point of this mod, SilverNirvash, is that the vanilla camera angle for the 3rd person view sucks. Bad. It's almost unplayable.
This shifts it in a bit and makes it so you feel like you're behind your character, not to the side of them. The angle is similar to Splinter Cell.
It's a good choice for a first mod. High impact and low footprint. And it was a bad choice of a mod for you to question, being 2 1/2 years old and obviously not even supported by the author any more.
Cant get this mod to work...installed manually, toggled archive invalidation on and off in FOMM, put it last in the load order... tried both versions. Dont know why it wont work, the pics look cool and I wish I could use it.
I'm not particularly found of this mod. It's not badly done or anything - it does what it sets out to do. I just prefer the Overhead 3P Camera mod. Still, I recommend that you try both and see which one you prefer, as it is so subjective.
This doesn't seem to be working for me in Broken Steel. I am in the Citadel compound and when I press 'F' for third person the camera goes way, way back and up. Is this caused by being inside or something else? Thanks.
