I extracted the meshes to the Data folder, but it's not working. However the retexture I'm using is in effect. Is this possibly caused by the game loading the default mesh from the default meshes BSA file?
EDIT: The mod only works on NPCs, and when I drop the weapon. But as soon as I equip it, it returns to the default mesh.

But it's unsuppressed.
He never said it was a G3. He said, it was based on it, which technically it is since the G3 is based of the CETME.
The CETME looks closer to his mesh than the vanilla mesh, so your point is negligible.
CETME Rifle Model C
Vanilla also has the gun firing 5.56mm, which is incorrect for both the CETME or the G3.
Finally, it's a mod of preference. There was no need to come and criticise the guy for making a mesh to his preference and releasing it to the public.
