I know I'm late to comment on an old mod, but I am currently using this on a playthrough and it works very well. I load it after Simple Realism, and I took the liberty of removing the stimpak healing entry in F03Edit as I prefer SR's. But the idea of healing crippled limbs with those otherwise useless medical braces and surgical supplies is very immersive, and one of my favourite parts of FWE.

I'm using this mod (through FWE). It's nice and all, but I don't have 40 medicine or the new perks. I can heal my limbs by going to the doctor, but how am I supposed to heal my followers broken limbs? When I go to the doctors there's no option to heal them, paying them to heal me doesn't work either. Is this an oversight or am I just missing something?

This doesn't conflict with Robco certified, does it?

That mod and this one both use surgical tubing but this one renames it, wasn't sure if that would cause any problems.

In any case, can't wait to try this. Looks like a great companion for the "simple needs" mod I installed.

Great mod! will it be possible to heal NPCs or followers? but instead of just treating wounds, maybe established an airway to an unconscious NPC/Companion, give IV fluids or blood to a NPC/Companion going into shock from bleeding out due to a gunshot wound, Inserting a needle in the second intercostal space -mid clavicular line due to a tension pneumothorax....?

I am medic in the in the military these are the most common injuries

This works great with other realism mods, like basic needs. It improves the game's immersion to me, so it gets my endorsement.

This mod works well with the realist damage mod i'm using. I changed one thing, though. I made it where First Aid Boxes randomly contain Medical Braces.

Just in case jesus 1987 or anyone else still needs the answer to his question: You just have to wait. It lasts about a minute, but in the end you get a fully healed limb. And in the meanwhile you can't heal it, because it's already considered as completely healed. That confused me too at the beginning.

And just in case anyone needs the answer to RJ the Shadow's question: Unfortunately this mods seems to erase the tiredness-function of BasicNeeds. You don't become tired anymore, and, even worse, if you're tired already, you can never "cure" it. I for myself decided to sleep every night anyhow. I imagine, i SHOULD be tired, whether the pipboy tells me or not. But be careful not to install this mod as long as you have a savegame including a tired character!!

EDIT: BAD NEWS! Its worse then i wrote above. Sometimes you WILL become tired, and as i said, you can never remove this! At least that'S what happens in my game. So, for your savegame's sake, if you try this mod together with BAsic Needs test it for one or two (gametime)days, before you rely on it. Note: Waiting for an entire day or so does NOT make you tired. I tested it and waited 24 hours. It made me hungry and thisty but not tired. But about 15 minutes later the "tiredness added" message appeared.

That's a pity, but you will have to decide between one of these two great mods.

Hmm, I would give this file an endorsement, but there is a slight problem. Whenever I have a crippled limb, I correctly choose <TRIAGE> and then exit the pip-boy and the menu pops up. I choose the limb to heal, and it heals fine. But, I then have a low HP limb, and I can't figure out how to repair it, as if I then click <TRIAGE> again the menu pops up with nothing listed, and I just have to exit the menu. PLEASE HELP!!!
