Hi i got the mod and it installs fine, the textures and meshes of the weapons and armour work but i do not get any sound or weapon effects when i shoot, but the ammo goes down. any ideas?
Ok, one glitch. There's a mod by Puce Moose which introduces a new weapon for the Zeta aliens; trying to pick one up or take it crashes the game. Can't win them all, I suppose.
Ok, been gone for quite a while. PC blew on me and I'm finally in a position where I have access to a computer strong enough to actually run the GECK. Sorry for the long delay in my return. Issues that have been had with this mod(resists being shortened and whatnot) will be addressed as soon as I convince my friend to let me hijack his PC for FO3 modding purposes xD
If anyone wants to translate this into other languages feel free to do so, I only know english so I wouldn't be able to do much.
Oh, and how I went about changing it, there are multiple ways, I used FO3Edit butI THINK there is a way to do it in the GECK. will check once it's installed.
Also it would appear my bethsoft forums account is gone. Well that sucks but at least I still have all my old files.
i think what this mod does is Abbreviate the effect like ex: Increased Strength (the name of the effect of the items in pipboy as you saw it) into something like Str+# (#=the number of stat added in game)... so it basically fix some crashes if u have to many effect in game items(mostly up to 8 are the safest number of effect)... but i found it that some effects like Increased DamageResistance in which it really crash the game as you open your pipboy... ive tried to use it with a trigger like for example IsSneaking but it still crashes the game...
