Need some help progressing in this mod - I have read all of the computer entries and the holotapes of the survivors; I have also dialogued with Junket, going through all of the options that are presented. Not sure what my next step should be? I searched the broadcast room for more holotapes, but did not find any. I searched around the shrine to Junket's mistress, but did not find anything. One of the computer entries stated that Junket wanted to ask the Lone Wanderer for help, so when I was talking to him I expected that to happen, but he never asked me for any help. I did find Junket's dream tape, but received no quests or quest indicators after that. There must be more to this than just a great story, but I don't know what I should do next??
A bit late... but apparantly Casum gutted a lot of the story and quests in the 1.4 update. If you can get your hands on a 1.3 version, I believe it has a bit more story or quests in it. Thats what I heard anyway. I hope the 1.3 version still floats around somewhere..
Casum, Please allow people the option to have the original quest structure. It is literally lost content now as nobody ever uploaded a video about it. And I heard great things about it.
Early 2023 review: In 2012 forgotten era of Fallout 3 mods I heard about Existence radio mod all over modding forums, but the concept of "robot radio station" didn't appeal to me at that time. But how foolish it was of me to skip this amazing hidden gem. First of all, ambient music really change tone and mood of the whole gameplay if you really need to take a break from "I don't want to set Butcher Pitt Civilization Maybe" collection of GNR (personally, I think I'm going to re-listen to all tracks on my player after complete playthrough). These new music will feel very unnatural in the world of familiar Fallout themes and vibe, but as time goes on and you accidentally understand that it is the real music of after "fallout" world. Second, the best part of this mod for me was dialog with Junket and reading his thoughts on personal terminal. The character of robot consist of some mystery and pretty much nihilistic pessimism from philosophical discourse which I found very intriguing in the context of Fallout universe. Maybe it's just me, but listening to Junket's story and observations of the world drove me to make parallels with our shallow existence as a human race. Not that I didn't think about it before for the last 8 years but this mod really put my view in new perspective by providing atmospheric music and new character with good writing. Should you try this mod in 2023? Absolutely, it will be different experience everytime you are going in the Wasteland while Junket tells you his understanding of the world and listening to unique pieces of music art. Been seeing your review-comments on a few of the mods here, and I just want to say thanks for writing them down! It's invaluable to someone who's been wanting to replay Fallout 3 after all these years but is unsure whether a mod is worth the time or not.
Hi everyone! Does anyone know by chance where the farm facility is? I got the connection to JunkET and I have an open quest "search the farm facility for lead".....Thank you!! :) Found it...
@WillLittleton. I'm afraid the version in Auge1's comment you're asking about is gone, hence the guide to it is gone. The latest version of the mod doesn't involve any of that extra world space searching - please read my and banzaiii's earlier comments.
Does a guide or hint page even exist for this nod? I've been looking for the farm for quite a while and there's conflicting ideas on whether it even exists (ayy) in this version. Any help or links would be inexplicably appreciated
I was enjoying this mod until I looked at the Spoilers. The 2nd quest would be a problem for me since Springvale has a complete overhaul in my game and the original houses are gone. Plus, when I used this mod, it got annoying when the high-pitch sound was in the background. Well-thought out mod but it's just not for me.
um i dont know if this a problem or not but i found the holotape and completed the quest but from the coments it seems there are more quests but i already spoke to junket and i read the terminals so should another quest pop up or from here on out it's an unmarked kind of quest?
I'm not sure either. I found the holotape and that seems to completely end the quest. The walkthrough doesn't exist on the files page any more so I'm guessing it's now defunct and all the previous comments from many years ago about farms and Springvale, etc, all relate to a very different older version of the mod. Note the description page says under version 1.4 "Quest re-designed and related story items rewritten".
I re-read everything on the terminal, went through the intercom again, reread all the notes added to my pipboy - and, just in case, I visited the locations discussed in years previously within this thread, and I even translated the hex codes. I'm guessing in the past the holotape was hidden elsewhere and all that backstory was used to hide crucial clues. But with the holotape now in the station, the voluminous texts seem mostly superfluous. Maybe the author thought leaving it all there still made for a cool backstory. But, imho, there's too much of it, and it still half-hints at the possibility of yet more content, such that (if I'm right) it's now simply ended up being an annoying waste of time - twice over.
Hi, I have not played FO3 for so many years: only recently, I really wanted to re-live the good old memories and recreated the modded game I used to have back then, only this time by using the most current updates of my most beloved mods: some of those were no longer present (still have backups though), but other new goodies had been added for me to test. Existence 2.0, always was a big favo of mine, however: v1.4 did not unfold as I remembered it: so I checked my old backup and found i had been playing v1.3 back then: so yes v1.4 was changed seriously quest-wise, and imho, v1.3 was far cooler to play: without wanting to spoil too much, when it started, it got somehow onto your pipboy, it had you run around the map searching for things Junked needed, eventually leading you to the final building: it lasted way longer, it felt more like a mystery, a very good quest: v1.4 left out a lot of all that. Personally, I removed v1.4 and reinstalled v1.3. I hope this helps to clarify some things. Kind regards.
@Banzaaiii - Thank you so much for clearing that up. I thought I was missing something, turns out I wasn't. Kudos given. To anyone else wondering, the mod is still worth it for the fantastic music - just a shame the quest got completely hacked up. There may have been a reason for it, I suppose, but from what banzaaiii says it doesn't seem so.

But for a true TTW port, here's the link you'd need, but it might not be the simplest of processes. Good Luck:
