Well, I got my room back in the original Vault 101 after a few quests, then left again. lol Of course I have another Vault 101 right next door which is this very one, and I like it.
But, I also have a small Vault below those two with nothing but all women.... and my character loves women. Then I have Home 101 which is near Megaton and the Ruined Vault. I need as much room as I can for all the weapons I'm dropping off.
But this mod is awesome. Kudos and excellent work!! Can't wait for the npcs!
Good idea but.. it sounds kind of weird. I was hoping one day someone woudl turn Vault 101 into another city with trade eta eta. Maybe get your character's room back just for kicks, and another place to stay and store, and visit. ^^;
Hi man! Just tried your mod.. and it seems to be well-done. (yeah..some lesser bugs, nothing thet you can not fix). I would like to see a player home version of this mod...without NPCS. I know it may sound useless, but I love very large Vaults left empty for the player..maybe I could try to do this myself, shall I?
Recently I have become re-interested in Amata and the Vault [mostly due to a new Amata Companion Mod etc] so I was reading up on it a bit....during which I noticed something which may interest you.
According to this Wiki, its been found possible to use an exploit[ish] way of completing the "Trouble on the Homefront" quest which results in the quest finishing, the NPCs leaving and the Main door staying stuck open [rather than clanging shut like in all other options]...meaning you can live in there, if you wish, altough the place is scripted to become "infested" with Radroaches.......apparantly this is quasi-intended and not really a bug....so I was thinking if you investigated the scripting for that event, you might be able to re-use it and thus avoid having to reproduce the whole vault, have "two" doors and worry about Nav Meshes etc....
Your Mod sems interesting and all,[as I was saying I've been checking out a lot of 101 related stuff just recently] and I was just thinking this door thing might be interesting/useful to you if you are unaware of it or whatever....good luck with the Modding [I find Mods and Modding very interesting but have Zero such talent myself, thus I think all, such as yourself, who do are very admirable and should be encouraged in their endevors since it results in a better more customisable Game for everyone]
*head meets table* I mean... don't want to insult you mate, but what is this good for?? rebuilding that ugly vault.. and then throwing in much work to place npcs there?? for me whole vaults are useless for the player. I prefer a shack with everything you need. but hey, it makes you more familiar with the GECK and that is the good point! anyway,keep it up^^
Not to be horrid but this looks badly made .... i suggest you take my mod and edit ithttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5034 Its same thing that your doing but has more and no glitches found on it the only thing youd just need to nav-mesh it and add more of the stuff you want and give me crdit ofc "> Hope ive helped
