That's unfortunately a Bethesda screw-up. Fallout 2's iconic transportation was the Chrysalis Highwayman (the travelling music on the world map was even called 'My Chrysalis Highwayman') - I have no idea why they thought "Chryslus" was somehow better. It's no more nor less legally actionable than 'Chrysalis' if Chrysler feel like litigating. If you like you can see them as two competing companies, but in this case I feel safe in saying I've got canon on my side
Thanks for feedback KloHunt3r, and I must agree. I've still got the source material in its unmodified form, so I might give it another try.
My mods are generally thrown together for my own pleasure, but if I get too perfectionist they just never get finished. "Better than stock" is usually what I'm aiming at!

also, just a little nitpick, but it's actually spelled "Chryslus" rather than "Chrysalis"
