I got the 101 texture problem too and the archive invalidation solution suggested below didn't work for me. I was able to fix it by doing the following:
1. Load blanket.esp into GECK as the active file. If you have Windows 8 don't forget to run as administrator! 2. Open Items>Misc Items on the object window and open "SleepingBag1," "SleepingBag2," or "SleepingBag3." 3. Click Edit next to the model path. 4. You should see three entries in the model data window:
3D Name 3D index New Texture MaleOutfit01 2 Bone01:0 2 Bone02:0 2 BlanketPlaid
All you need to do is to double click the blank space to set the texture for the first row. You can delete the texture on the third row if you want, it doesn't matter. You may also want to change the item name slightly just to double check that your changes register in-game.
5. Then do it again to the next two blanket items, save and you're done!
I had the odd situation where the Sleep Now button stopped working. This happened after using a blanket and forgetting to pick it up, and I couldn't remember where I left it. I took note of which blanket I had, disabled the mod, saved the game, and enabled the mod again. I manually added the blanket to my inventory, and it works again.
I absolutely love this mod. I'm really happy that it works with Simple Needs! I ported it to New Vegas (for myself only, obviously) because I don't like the idea of carrying around a huge, bulky sleeping bag. Me and my blanket will be together forever
Don't know if anyone's still downloading this mod but I can confirm that changing bInvalidateOlderFiles=0" to "set bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" in your My DocumentsMy GamesFallout3Fallout3.ini file seems to solve the textures issue (at least for me). I have texture size set to large
Ah, sadly that didn't work for me. I actually already had that line set to 1 in my ini folder, so there wasn't anything to change when I checked. My texture size is also set to Large. I guess I'm just unlucky, I really wanted to use the blankets as an aesthetic feature in my megaton house too. Thanks for the advice though! Perhaps it will help someone else. =)
Sadly, it is not. FWE uses Primary Needs. You can still use this mod though, it won't conflict. But sleeping with the blanket won't decrease your sleep need.
No worries, glad I could help. Been enjoying this mod for a few months now. Managed to lose my blanket just now, didn't pick it up when I woke up and forgot where I slept (bit of a rough night haha). Could you edit the mod description to include the console commands to add the different blankets to the player inventory?
@Valorien RE: please lower the weight value As per "Pen and Paper RPGs" it is not weight but encumbrance. Carrying around a blanket is not easy, thus a higher encumbrance.

@Aanikron, I doubt it. You could try.
Thanks again for a great little mod!
RE: please lower the weight value
As per "Pen and Paper RPGs" it is not weight but encumbrance. Carrying around a blanket is not easy, thus a higher encumbrance.
However, I was wondering if you could please lower the weight value of a blanket from 10 pounds to something more realistic like 1 pound.
Thanks for this great mod!
