These files change the game setting, fessentialdeathtime, that determines how long essential NPCs will be rendered unconscious. I have included variants for 1, 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 180, 300, and 900 seconds. (Vanilla is 10 seconds.)

These files change the game setting, fessentialdeathtime, that determines how long essential NPCs will be rendered unconscious. The number at the end of an .esp's name represents the seconds the NPC will remain unconscious. I have included variants for 1, 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 180, 300, and 900 seconds. (Vanilla is 10 seconds.)


ONLY USE ONE .ESP AT A TIME.

Pick ONE .esp and put it in the data folder in your FO3 directory or use FOMM.

This is the probably the final version. The 1 and 5 second variants might possibly cause weird behavior; I haven't tested them.

If you use more than one, I suppose all that will happen is that only the last .esp will work.
