What the the guy below me said but also there's a DC Interiors compatibility patch (if you have that mod installed of course) - mod works as intended and zero crashes so far. I wouldn't save inside the bus interior though just in case.
Busworld is a great mod i tried it is really fun . Is just too glitchy. The navmeshes are all weird, companions can get stuck inside or outside, the doors sometimes lead different places, can make the game crash after a while , can lead to instability save file corruption etc. All those happened to me and is not fun. I'd stay away from it until the owner comes back fixes things (which is never). With all that said is a great mod and I endorsed it but I choose not to use it caused me too many problems. I think there is even a quest in the mod. Still. I don't use . There is a similar mod that works better but only DC metro cars is way more stable but only metro cars. Ah well...
Installed Busworld and played it for a few hours, was loving it. Then bang, had a CTD. Once I got back into the game I began getting CTD everytime I did a manual SAVE. I had no idea at the time it was this mod that was causing the problem and discovered it after i did some uninstalling / deactivating then reactivating mods.
It also seems to have corrupted a lot of my then recent saves.
I too -- as much as I love this MOD -- will leave it out for now.
I have the same problem. With this mod it corrupts my save games, screen goes color funny and flashes for a minute, then a ctd. I have a computer setup that can more than handle everthing I have installed.
A friend of mine gave me a cleaned up version of this mod, that was even compatible with metro cars. After a while I started getting ctd's and came to the conclusion that my saves were getting corrupted. After messing with my load for a time, I came to the conclusion that it must be bus world. Removed the mod, started a new game and everything is fine now. My theory is that because it adds exteriors to the game, this is what is causing the game crashes and corrupt saves. I think this may be true with any mods that add anything to the exteriors of the game. Metro Cars does the same thing, so I don't use it any more either. DC Interiors is just fine.
Strange...I have Busworld always included (and active) in my load order, and never once have I encountered any issues like the ones you folks are describing, including on saves that are quite old. Perhaps it is because I am using the .esp from Busworld - Better English Translation, by pintocat? *shrugs*
So I've tried to track down the cause of the crashing, flashing purple screen, and missing textures when I install this mod, and others. I believe I toggled archiveinvalidated option in the FOMM too many times maybe, and the game lost track of what mods I installed for whatever it would replace. I also noticed I had a mod called "a world of pain" that does allot what DC interiors does, adding more world spaces, interiors, locations. It could be the combination of the two that caused crashing for me. Iv'e started a game without "a world of pain" and so far so good!
I have never installed AWOP4FO3, but if it and DC Interiors both alter the same exterior and interior cells to an extent, then that very well may be causing, or at least instrumental with, your crashes.
i really wanted to try this mod after seeing the subway car interiors but whenever i try to load this mod i just get red missing textures errors i have tried turning on and off archive invalidation i also have the bus world dc interiors compatibility mod loaded right after the main busworld one .
Yikes, been a long time since this page had a comment. I know this mod is no longer being worked on, but there are five metro cars in the Pennsylvania Ave/Georgetown Metro (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Penn._Ave/Georgetown_Metro) aren't affected by this mod.
I entered in the one of three red containers in Meresti Trainyard. But,This red container was trap of a coffin. There are no exits...
I found that once inside one of the train cars, finding the door activator to get back out can be difficult. For some reason, they tend to be rather small, and require some time and patience to locate. That said, due to the fact that some interiors in this mod are not complete (incorrect transition from outside or no collision on the occasional floor) I suggest making a save before entering any of the buses/train cars/subway cars, so you can avoid having to loose too much time from your last save. Keeping a list of which ones are okay and which ones are problematic might also be a good idea.
That said, I know for a fact that the monorail car (still on the overhead track) is safe to enter.
You must be new to moddding. Or at least somewhat. Because not EVERY single mod will show up in your load order. Im also having a problem with the Door For the door busses too.

But at any rate, did you install the esp from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/13064/?
This page only has the base files (meshes and textures). You need an esp to complete the mod.
You install the meshes and textures from here and the esp from the above page and it should work.
(edit: and it will even show up in your load order afterwards
but it make ctd .....
