Nice mod, the hideout is well positioned and cozy.
If you installed it via NMM and can't see it, it's probably because the installation file doesn't seem to be properly packed. The quickest solution is to go to FO3's Data folder, find folder Highway hideout, pull the Highway hideout.esp into the Data folder, and then tick it in NMM/Plugins tab. The hideout is east of Girdershade, just follow the highway. It's quite close to Jocko's.
I haven't checked the turret issue (mentioned below in old comments) because it's working just fine - maybe it really can't be turned on back again once you turn it off, but I have no reason to do that. The only issue I see is one panel (under the first aid kit) changing textures depending on where you stand relative to it. It would be ok if the light switch indicator turned from red to green once you turn it on, but that's just minor thing and this mod will hardly get an update since it's already been asleep for almost 10 years :-)
If you don't care about these issues, it's quite ok.
This house looks promising, but I happen to have problem with it...
Well, not a big one: firstly, the "container" part of water purifier looks mono-black, I figured that's not how it was supposed to look. And TV is likewise looks weird: the *whole* TV set changes, not just the screen (I checked the user-uploaded screenshots, and on one of them the TV seems to be fine, so I guess it isn't just a problem with the mod).
My guess is that I must have put textures in the wrong place.. but Readme doesn't state where to put them. I have put them into "Fallout 3DataTexturesHighway Hideout" is that the correct place to put them in? (Oh, and my OS is Windows XP)
@dingojackass You need to run FOMM in admin mode. I have always played on Vista and Windows 7 and the game runs super well if you go to the fallout3.exe and make the compatibility settings disable desktop connection(something like that, I think the word connection is something differnt) and in FOMM make that exe run as admin and it will work like a charm. (btw if you want to make UAC bearble try tweak-uac.com, It's a nice app I used to trust my sanity to until windows 7 came. It has a better UAC setting panel than vista)
Yes, it stops when I uncheck the mod. I'm not saying it's the fault of the mod. More likely, it's my pc or, maybe, stupid vista. I'm not exactly a rocket surgeon when it comes to this stuff. I just wondered if anyone could give me some pointers or something. I absolutely love this mod and I'm bummed that I can't use it.

Just extracted the textures folder & esp files straight -> fallout3/data. (is that right?)
Now when i tick the highway hideout.esp in the launcher it de-ticks. This is a common prob so then got FOMM.
Tried the fallout mod manager but this says it can't access plugins.txt even though that file is not read only and i launched as admin.
Maybe its a Vista problem..
