The moon is black. Or rather it's "blank," like I just see a big circle in the sky where there aren't any stars, as if there were a big solid object between me and them, except I can't see the object (the moon). It happened when I installed these textures. Or at least everything looked normal beforehand.
I then tried to install krzymar HI-RES Moon to see if his textures would overwrite anything. They did overwrite some files, but the moon still doesn't show up.
Anyone have any ideas? I followed the install instructions for both mods.
Some moon mods expect no stars in the night sky at all. I've had to remove stars like this mod uses from my game, and just use the vanilla game's night sky.
This simple enhancement is essential for me and it also doesn't impact performance at all. The nightsky really looks realistic in every sense, a must-have for anyone!
this is a simple but immensely satisfying mod. Looking at the sky when using a night-vison mod is just astonishing, and quite frankly is exactly what haappens in real life with nv goggles.

Yes, as long as you follow the installation instructions.
mods like this offer nothing but frustration to people that add quite a few mods and just want textures to work.
