For those who cant find it, go into the GECK and manually place it in a cell if you really need to. That's what i had to do seems there are no suggested places to get it. By the way, THIS GUN ROCKS!!! Super duper fun! And it's probably one of most well done weapon mods that ive seen! good job!Although i did have to change the critical effect a little to make people go flying when hit by the poo (i like sending people to the other side of the map, its my addiction) I totally rate this gun at a 10/10 for overall quality and poo flinging fun.
I'm not sure why you're having that problem. Are you sure it's my .esp that is causing the problem? The only thing game changing I added was to enable raiders as playable races. The error you describe wouldn't seem to have anything to do with whether the raiders were flagged as playable or not.
If disabling just my .esp resolves the issue then I suppose it conflicts with one of those, although I really couldn't guess how. One thing you could try is make sure my .esp loads first. Loading it first will cause everything loaded after it to trump my changes. That shouldn't effect my .esp because like I said the only thing I changed was the playable race flag.
I didn't do a very good job of explaining the test .esp, so here is a detailed breakdown of it's mechanics.
- Raiders have been set to playable races. This might cause a conflict if you use a mod that changes the raiders in some way. It doesn't seem to affect character creation (i.e. you can't choose raider as a new race while starting a new game). I had to do this to make them susceptible to the HP damage.
- The gun only does HP damage to playable races (i.e. humans). It does no HP damage to creatures, robots, ghouls, or muties. I did this to simulate radiation damage. I have it set up to do a sustained 3 HP of damage per second for 60 seconds. The initial damage is the same as the laser rifle, but with the resistance changed from energy to radiation. This makes any character resistant to radiation also resistant to the initial damage.
- The gun applies the dart gun cripple legs effect to all races and creatures. This is the way I simulated the effect of being covered in sticky feces. I'd rather of had the target be slowed like how the player is by being encumbered but I couldn't get it to work so I settled for this.
- I added an object effect to the gun that adds an explosion script to make a crap explosion on impact. When the projectile hits the target a burst of poo explodes. Residual radiation is left at the point of impact for 60 seconds (similar to the Fatman). I also added a glow shader to cover the target for 60 seconds to further simulate being irradiated. The glow shader and crap explosion affects all races and creatures.
It's 5 in the morning and I decide to get up and have a cup of coffee and scan the latest files for new mods.I am the only one awake in the house,a nice peaceful morning, comfort cozy, great coffee, and nice and quiet on this Saturday morning. I just woke every one up in the house, and the dogs too, from laughing. So funny yet so kool and a great looking gun.Thank you for letting me know life is still really alot of fun
