Keep in mind that earlier Bethesda games have an in-built restriction of around 32000 caps for a vendor to give you money for what you sell. Mod author and some folks think it is a bug; it is not. It's a restriction built into the game engine.

Once a vendor has more than 32000 caps you won't get anything for what you're selling...

This is why other mod have crash that add absurd large amount. Just in case try below 10000
anything around 6x to 10x is okay because in average caps of a trader is below 2000

I was going to post something to this effect myself.  I would say that to be on the safe side, stick to x10 or less since at level 30 you'll be seeing some vendors over 1k and this would still keep it well below the hard limit.  With how unstable this game is there's no point in getting too greedy :)

Cap increase did not initially show up; but works fine after waiting several in-game days.  Is working perfectly now; thanks!
  3. Working good, thank you.

Works great in FO3 standalone game.  Thank you - not using at the moment since I'm playing TWW 3.2.

I am using a version that increases 7 times and is working perfectly.
I hate games that the sellers don't have enough money to buy all my items.

    must have 10/10

Mod doesn't seem to work any longer. Maybe the game has seen too many updates in the past eleven years since the mod was uploaded. Or I have other mods that prevent this one from working. All I know is that the vendors I've visited didn't have more caps than usual.

Craigsters-thats what you get when you dont know how to read.... if you would read, you would see that its not a problem of mod, but too high amount of caps on vendors....

i plan on making one including all vendors from FO3 and the DLCs. : update: its done, you can find it here, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22837 there have been reports of a few issues, mostly due to other vendor mods. but most vendors should have 30k caps.

The Most a vender can have for Caps is 30,000 in Fallout NV without ripping you off. I would Imagine that Fallout 3 is about the same. So if it's more than 30k caps...it won't work.
