Disclaimer: - The mod does NOT come with the greenery that you see in the screen shots. It is a mod I have running on my end & is in no way a part of this mod. Sorry for any confusion that may have caused.
First: - I'd like to thank everyone here that tries my mod. I am constantly trying to improve my skills with GECK, but sadly it's a rather slow process as I'm just not gifted in that area. Though try as I might.
Second: - I have built a small weapons & armor mod that has a small & very linear & very short story. I am trying to incorporate the 2, so instead of just having you open a container & get the items, I want you to work for the items I have made, which at he same time, forces me to learn more & more about how to use the GECK.
Story: - It's pretty basic. An alien craft crashes on earth. Having survived the decent through our planets atmosphere & then the following impact, the aliens set up camp. Of course their technology is more sophisticated than ours. I wonder what there is to be found within the camp? Will you even make it to the camp? How would you approach an alien settlement? Under cover of darkness via stealth or during the broad daylight? You do not need to start over & it's OK if you have nuked Megaton. However, you will need to visit Vault 101's exit &... look around.
This is my fledgling attempt to modding FO3 in a manner beyond a simple weapons or armor mod, though this mod does add both. I got some help via the forums & while i'm sorry I do not remember your name directly, you will know who you are when I mention about receiving items from Consoles. I thank you for your help. I'm not too sure how much info I should give out. I don't want to hold your hand and give you a step-by-step walkthrough, but I don't want you to try once, die & then quit without giving it a chance. So I'll just say that it would be prudent if you were prepared. As prepared as you would be were you a true explorer. For danger lurks around every corner.
Credits: - I have used a custom weapon model as the base for the weapon within this mod. I would like to hereby officially thank & give full & complete credit for the custom model to rjtwins.
Any & all comments are welcome. Even negative ones.
One last hint: When you get it. Read it.
