Yes, you need to load up the Geck and check the masters that this mod uses. Then check this mod off and set it as active and you can go to armor and click edit on the armor. Uncheck all the stuff you don't want to be hidden such as Hair. I do this so I can wear goggles under my Vault Security Helmet. I make sure most of the eyewear I only have the eyewear box checked off because most of the glasses and such have it the were it removes masked when equipped. Some mods require multiple masters hears a quick video on how to load multiple masters in case you need it. https://youtu.be/zHEwzk2hWkA
Honestly with unrepairable unique items i use player.srm its kinda cheaty but its bethesdas own damn fault for not adding in a reasonable mechanic for repairing unique items. Considering what you go through to get most of the really good unique items in the game they really shouldn't even have a durability stat :/
But basically this allows you to repair items purely based on repair skill like NPC's do
Aaaaannnd Holy necro batman just saw the date figured the top comment would at least be somewhat recent
mikeloeven - Early game I was quite disappointed to see how Plinkett's Valid Points cannot be repaired with brass or spiked knuckles. player.srm all day once I exceed the caravan merchant skill levels.
Also I add 9000 carry weight forever at the birthday party when you get the Pip Boy. I love the Gamebryo console. Pip Boy inventory lists seem to have no limits.
Can the console remove the helmet at all? Permanently I would hope as you can always activate it again?
Ok, so I managed to spawn just the helmet with the console. Apparently it's cut content but if you want just the helmet it's = 100c190 1 Can't find a code to remove the helmet from the armor. Can't spawn just the armor.
I would try this mod, but I already have quite a bit of progress in the game I am playing. Also created a merged patch already. I'm sure this mod is safe though, as it affects little else.
I already did Anchorage of course. I hope the armors still appear. Outcasts are all dead so they won't swipe anything.
I can't get it to work right, I can put the helmet by itself on, but when I unequip it, the suit itself still has the helmet attached, could it be a problem with the re-texture mod I have?
Also, I tried to find DLC folder but I'm running Win7, and I can't even find a xLive folder to look through.
Thanks! Just got thru OpAnch last night, and was disappointed that the helmet was 'attached' to the suit. Now I can wear this awesome gear without lookin' weird when I'm chattin' with vendors.
