Love these kinds of simple but effective mods. I don't want a Grooveatron, I want to get Moira out of that jumpsuit and into something like Neovinci's Dark Leather Cowgirl outfit. I want to drop some glasses on a Brotherhood Scribe who could really use 'em.
You try walking into Craterside supply to see a cowgirl sweeping the floors and not enjoying the game at least 5% more. Meanwhile her Merc bodyguard leans against the wall, enjoying the show. That "protective" stare looks a whole lot more creeper now, doesn't it? It's your world, and I love little gizmos like the BeautyStick that let me remake it all with my own twisted imagination. No fuss, no muss, just turning everyone in the game into a human manikin.
If you're having trouble using this... First, equip the BeautyStick, then pull it out like you're about to smack that fool for dressing so poorly. Then, crouch down, so they know you're seriously considering their kneecaps. You'll be able to "pickpocket" them. Go right ahead, but instead of picking their pocket, select ModNPC from the menu that comes up. Boom, you're in their back pocket, and they won't freak out when you back out of the menu.
Like the mod, more power to the modder. Everything can be improved, of course, but sometimes you just want function without frill.
as this mod stands right now, its about worthless. with magic fingers perk, Sharing and Caring Companions, the TRASCH mod, and the Amazing Mind Control Device, all do something a little differnt to npc's, the one thing in common is that they all do what your little stick does. magic fingers just lets you steal the shirt right off an npc's back, & you dont need anything in your inventory to do it. what id like to see, is something like the TRASCH mod expanded, be able to give nps's more than just one skill book & be able to give them the light step perk, maybe they learnearn after setting off X# of traps. my pet peve about npc's, they never learn to avoid traps. check these mods out & see if you can come up with a real npc fixer-uper. nice try though cheers pal

This may be the most underrated mod I've ever seen. This "Beauty Stick", while made for stupid reasons, is awesomely exploitable and is also the perfect way to give Dogmeat the Wazer Wifle for people who can't use the console. 10/10
I'm not 100% sure, but I would think it works in spite of that. It sets it as a teammate first to make sure it will bypass any crime checks I might not know about. It removes that after to make sure they will react normally. If you find out it does cause a problem let me know. I'm not sure what more I can do, but I'll try to take a look.

Personally, I think there are a LOT of ways to get this done already... but most of those come with some sort of 'system' or 'extras'.
This is perfect for people who see a person and think, "Holy crap... ugly -and- poorly dressed. At least we can fix that second part!'
