you should make a battle music replacer for fo3 using ff7 battle music and instead of the experience sound (the ching sound) it plays the ff7 victory tune
I'll try to formulate it in a positive mode to not get banned lol. Generally I agree with what Squall said below. Even if this gun blade here is the model from Parasite Eve 2, it's not the one from Squall like claimed by the description. The texture doesn't look right from what I can see on the Screenshots. Furthermore the additem code doesn't work, at least for me. So positive summary: -either make it Squall's gunblade or change the description -make screenshots in a brighter area and not in the dakrest hole around (k, seems to be an issue with many people here...)
I can change it to be a gun and sword, I made myself a gun that can either stun or kill by using a similar script to the one noted below, however that was a lucky one, I have tried to use the same script for other weapons, unsuccessfully I'm afraid.
Oh man, Squall Leonhart His gunblade, awesome piece of art Though by looking at the bad screenshots, there are MANY mistakes in the gunblade design. Nonetheless, nice effort, just make it closer to the real thing
Remember Parasite Eve 2? Released by Squaresoft too. Anyways, one of the reward weapons given was a gunblade. Looks the same as the model on the mod. Fires shotgun shells. You can whack OR shoot someone with it. Or you could cause ungodly damage combining both attacks. It was kind of a tribute to FF8.
Well OBVIOUSLY I have to give some feedback for this mod!
Needles to say, I'm going to be extra critical as I view this as touching on my home turf... First off, I've seen this classic gunblade design show up many times in mods in the past few Bethesda games, and it looks to me that people keep on reusing the same mesh from one mod to the next. The modder here may perhaps have converted the mesh to work in FO3, but it is NOT by any means a newly made model. I would say you should give credit to the original model creator, but frankly I do not know who that is. Another thing that supports my disbelief that you actually did create this mesh is that if you had created it yourself, I would have expected you to have given it a decent texture. This texture simply looks wrong. It looks like all you did was stick a katana texture on it as a placeholder. I don't mean to sound harsh, but this is simply the truth.
Well... now that that's said... I'd like to clarify a few facts about gunblades to the good people here. Gunblades do NOT fire bullets, at least not the FF8 model we have here. ---(if you want a gunblade that fires bullets, check into the dual gunblades weilded by Weiss The Immaculate, the ending boss from Dirge of Cerberus, an offshoot from FF7.)--- The ammunition used by a gunblade is more like explosive charges than actual bullets. Upon pulling the trigger of the gunblade, an explosive shock is sent down the length of the blade causing strong vibrations throughout which enhances the blade's cutting power (Immagine what'd happen if the trigger was pulled while the blade is cutting into an enemy's flesh!). (A bit of gunblade related FF8 trivia: The lion-headed beast depicted on Squall's pendant, ring, and etched into the blade of his gunblade is a powerful guardian force called Greiver.)
If the trigger function was utilized here, I would suggest binding a key from the keyboard to the trigger. And the better you time the trigger with the blade's impact, the greater the damage.
Note that I would very much like to see a gunblade in FO3, but I want to see it done proper. At least do it justice by giving the thing a decent texture!

Actually, Griever wasn't real, but Squall's idea of the strongest possible guardian force, and was then created by Ultimecia to use against him.
