A detailed repair mod... unfortunatelly i deleted the first file... but there was a problem with a masterfile anyway (enemyarmor.esp)... this has been solved :-) and i read the given comments read the comments and made some notes to improve the mod :-)

When I played FO 3 for the first time there were many things i liked and many i just didn´t like!
To keep it short - one thing i din´t like was the repair system.
i think it´s a good and realistic idea to make the weapons and armor loose condition
but how this is realized in the vanilla is a bit unrealistic to me.

i imagined myself being in the wastes. i found two hunting rifles.. hmm so far so good.
now i "repair" them... okay... but the way repairing works in the vanilla i saw this picture in my mind:
I took one hunting rifle in each hand an bounced them together and WOOOOP! they melted to one rifle...
(try to imagine them not being rifles but cars to make the picture really funny)
for me this is not the proper way to simulate repairing :-)

so i created this mod, which adds more realism to the process. (well... that´s my opinion anyway)
so much for my motive!

What the mod does

1. It replaces the Repair Lists of the Weapons and devides the Weapons into 4 categories:
Pistols
Rifles
Heavy Weapons
Energy Weapons

2. The 4 categories of Weapons can be repaired by special Spare Parts:
Pistols with "Several Pistol Parts"
Rifles with "Rifle Barrels and Bolts"
Heavy Weapons with "Pieces of Heavy Equipment"
Energy Weapons with "Recycled Electronics"
3. The new Spare Parts can be obtained by
a) Combining different objects
b) "Recycling" a Weapon

If objects are combined One Spare Part is added. The recycling of a Weapon brings 3 Spare Parts.

4. To recycle/combine 4 new objects are needed (1 for each category)

Pistols == HaSaRD Small Gun Recycler
Rifles == nuCRAP Rifle Recycler
Heavy Weapons == HEAT Heavy Weapon Recycler
Energy Weapons == WEIRD Energy Weapon Recycler

5. To get more realism the Recyclers have a skill level. That´s because I thought someone with repair 5
(so THIS is a screwdriver?!) should not be able to repair a complex piece of technology like a plasma rifle.
HaSaRD needs 15 repair skill
nuCRAP needs 30 repair skill
HEAT needs 50 repair skill
WEIRD needs 65 repair and science skill

6. At the moment all 4 Recyclers are sold at the Crater Supply in Megaton

7. All Recyclers have notes and messages to explain what they do and to add some history to them
(hmmmm the good old days of FO1+2)

So with this mod you need the correct spare parts to repair a weapon.
By now only "normal" weapons can be recycled (no uniques!) and melee weapons and armor aren´t worked on yet.

This is the first mod i´ve ever made, so I´d appreciate your comments and ideas!
And if you liked the idea behind the mod i´ll "refine" it a bit!
Especially checking my english used in the mod would be nice!

And finally some possible changes for the future
- Recyclers available at different vendors
- Different Spare Parts can be found in boxes, crates and maybe NPCs
- Recyclers for Melee Weapons and Armors
- Maybe new Models and Textures (atm just different looking "Scrap Metal" and "Toolboxes" noobish *lol*)

Problems i know so far (and cannot solve... noobish again *cry*)
- "floating" problem - when dropped from the inventor the Recyclers "float" in the air
- if a Recycler is dropped from the inventory and the game is saved sometimes the item disappears on reload

(i havn´t done much testing yet put i guess the mod won´t work with other mods which change the repair lists)

I know that there are millions of repair mods on the net... so here is mine!
