I appreciate all the work that went into writing the descriptions. I didn't like that the icon art was made smaller as a tradeoff, and the writing was smaller on a 1080p screen than in the mod screenshots, which is just the way the underlying Pipboy descriptions generator mod tool works, so I uninstalled it. There was also overlap with other UI elements (e.g. Repair). Sorry, I meant to include this as a separate comment and I can't delete it.
I did enjoy this, loving the extra little depth this adds, but alas personally find the text just too small to read comfortably (1920x1080 screen, darnui).
That is true. I was thinking is there a way to increase the font or (more advanced) have an extra pop-up button that can display another panel that is an easier read. (DarnUI also)
Not related, but I do have to ask; Where did you get that Pip-Boy re-skin? It's amazing! The green buttons, the scratched display, it looks so much better than any Pip-Boy 3000 re-texture I've ever seen!
1) If you're not doing modded weapons; will the PipBoy still show the descriptions of non-modded weapons whose names are changed as a result of a mod? (i.e., FWE; FOOK2)
2) Will this work with AlexScorpion's excellent PDA PipBoy mod?
3) Is that a different PipBoy skin in some pics? (Gauss Rifle; Apparel; + Weapons?)
I would love to see that way of descriptions on all items. Sort of tired of pip-boy holding everything, but images from meshes look cool. Can you do it for non-weapon items to finish that mod?
