"The experience points required for level n can be calculated from the equation 25(3n + 2)(n - 1)." hxxp://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Leveling instead of: XPN=200(n-1)+XPBump(n-1)(n-2)/2 which gives the correct amount of XP only for vanilla (XPBump=150) ------------------------------------------------------------ Using the second formula (as you did) you get only ~90% of the XP necessary to advance a level. E.g.: For 10 times slower leveling, with your mod, you need only 260300 XP instead of 294500 XP (as it should be) which means only ~88% of total XP - to get to the level 20. ------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, great mod. Using MMM mod though, 5x slower is too fast while 10x is too slow when advancing a level. I think 7x slower would be the right pace in advancing when someone uses MMM mod, but you don't have this "speed" unfortunately. ------------------------------------------------------------ This pesky FO3 has so many things to discover, even if you've already searched many times every corner of the Wasteland...
Attention.Attenzione.Attencion.внимание.Contains SPOILERS.So, cut the commentaries and back to your work. Based on my pythagorean research (wow )the amount of experience necessary to get to the next level is based on formula: XPN=200+XPBUMP*(LVL-2). Accordingly, to get to the level 2 in vanilla (XPBUMP=150) you need 200 XP, to level 3 you need 350, to level 4 you need 500 XP and so on. The correspondent experience per level is based on another formula where: XPC = 200*(LVL-1)+XPBUMP*C where C is a constant related to a given level (2/0,3/1,4/3,5/6,6/10,7/15,8/21,9/28,10/36 and so on where 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 represent the level and 0,1,3,6,10,15,21,28,36 represent C). Based on afore mentioned, XPC(LVL 2)=200, XPC(LVL3)=550, XPC(LVL 4)=1050 and so on. As our pal mentioned, if XPC (LVL 3)=1150 using this mod, we have XPBUMP=750 which means 5*150=750 where 150 represents the XPBUMP vanilla FO3. Based on my tests in the field, XPC (LVL 11)=35750 (I am now at LVL 10) so the mod that our pal strove to create it is by all means AS CORRECT AS POSSIBLE. Use it without concern. A must have, especially if you have MMM installed. Before of this mod I used another Slower Levelling Mod with XPBUMP=300 (twice as vanilla) and found out that I advance way too fast (with MMM installed). So, I think that this mod will get the job done according to my tastes. Keep the good work buddy. A nice one.
Thanks for the mod, I've installed 5xlvling.esp, started a saved game just before leaving vault 101 and my stats are 160/200, I've expected not to level up on exit from 101, I recieved 200 xp totaled to 360 and leveled to level 2. My new stats are 360/1150, ehile the normal XP needed for level 3 are 550xp, so it is only x2.09 from normal not x5.
I play with patch 1.7, US english version, 5xlvling.esp is the only Mod installed. Am I missing something? and even with x2.09 I should't have leveled to level 2 because 200x2.09=418 and I got after exiting 101 200xp to a new total of 360.
BTW, I have the same problems with Slower_Levelling_LITE_all_versions-97,
Would you be willing to make a mode that will let you chose different ranges of level XP increases instead of just 5x or 10x??
1x more XP required 2x more XP required 3x more XP required 4x more XP required 5x more XP required 6x more XP required 7x more XP required 8x more XP required 9x more XP required 10x more XP required
Hi SethCreiyd. I guess you used G.E.C.K for this mod? Where exactly did you find the values for experience and leveling? / Im trying to make my own mod ">
AHHHHHH normal leveling works but the x5 doesn't... I gain the exp but the indicator doesn't move and seeing as im using the Commander mod i lvl up way too quick any solutions are appreciated ">.

De-activate & Delete....then what? Completely start over a new game or manually save in a blank spot and reload that newly created save?

@deevz and Hunter_Leader, I have no current explanation, but I'm trying out new versions of the file, and when I have something I will update.
