Noob uploader and modders, you DO NOT NEED GECK to use this. You don't need to manually replace every single weapon's scope to use any of them.
All you need to do is pick one of the scopes, rename it to Scope01 (like the first) and place it in Meshes/HUD/Interface. That way, it will override the vanilla scope for all weapons that use it (so i guess that only leaves out the Gauss Rifle, which you can replace manually).
Also, you can use them in New Vegas in the exact same way. Pick one, name to mildot_o.nif (yes, it will override the DDS) and place in meshes/hud/interface. It's amazing how nobody thought of this, especially the uploader!
Lastly, the screenshots are mixed up, they do not represent their corresponding crosshairs. For example, the dragunov scope (the second one in screenshots, is actually Scope01.nif )
1. I never mentioned this because this is NOT a mod. It is a resource pack, so people can use these as they please, from replacing the default to customizing all the scoped weapons in the game.
2. There is no "dragunov" scope. They are all created by me, not based on any actual crosshair. Any similarities are pure coincidence.
I like these reticles a lot, i'm going to use them for my mod if you don't mind. Great work, exactly what i was searching for, now i'm using some from Pelinor, but they just don't do it for me..
Have a look at my mod if you like, http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12766 It's for realistic weather and some weapons and vatsimprovements.
As far as I can tell, once you have the mod downloaded you can go into GECK to art and sound part of the weapon stats and change the scope there. I've been making alot of my own custom weapons but i still dont know how to make new meshes all in itself. I just (with permission) take meshes off other mods and change a few things like the skin. As far as the mod itself, great job. 10 stars
You need to import the crosshair into blender. After you edit it,you then export it then swap out the crosshair from the vanilla one and resave as your new one. Look up my video on how to swap things.
OK I have to know.... HOW DID YOU MAKE THOSE THINGS?!? i already implimented your crosshairs to EVERY custom weap that I have, and also replaced some vanillas as well. I would like to try my hand at making one, but do not know where to start....could you point me in the right direction?
can you make the crosshairs in red or green colours??. I play in 1920x1080 and I have problems to aim with black crosshairs because with this resolution the lines are veeeery fines and the black color is very difficult to see
